Paris Space Week 2015

ENBIO had a very successful participation at the Paris Space Week 2015 in Orly, France. This business-to-business meeting opportunity has again proven to be an effective means of meeting new and old customers alike. Sales Manager Kevin O’Flynn was in attendance and he said “ENBIO have been hard at work pushing the limits of our technology platform, CoBlast, and PSW15 was a great opportunity to get direct customer feedback on our latest advances. Two developments are particularly exciting: we have produced new Zinc Phosphate primers that provide corrosion resistance and enhanced bonding between the metal and subsequent coatings or adhesives; and we have expanded our range of substrates for our SolarBlack thermal control coating to include copper. The customer feedback was very positive and validates our concerted R&D effort over the last year. Since the last Paris Space Week, we have taken our SolarBlack on titanium from TRL5 to TRL7, which is a huge leap in just one year. In total we have gone from TRL0 to TRL7 in just three and a half years, which is phenomenal. It really shows the strength of the research team in ENBIO.”

Commenting on PSW15, ENBIO’s CEO John O’Donoghue said “It is so important for ENBIO to be at European events such as Paris Space Week, because it gets us close to our customers. It keeps us progressing in the right direction so we continue to create next generation solutions to the latest challenges for coatings and surface modifications in the Space sector and beyond to terrestrial applications. It helps us to identify existing and upcoming trends in the market and be positioned ahead of the curve, so that we have products ready for customers before they even know they need them”.

ENBIO gave a flash presentation entitled “ENBIO: One Step Surface Transformations” and a copy of the slides can be seen here.
